Associate Vice Provost, Threat Assessment and Management
For nearly 25 years, Pat has been a partner in Prince Phelps Consultants providing consultation to government agencies, educational institutions and private employers on over 2500 cases of workplace violence and/or threatening situations. Additionally, Pat was a reserve officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for nearly tree decades. Over the course of his career, his clients have included the City of Los Angeles, Toyota USA, and PortsAmerica. He has provided consultation and threat assessment training to numerous institutions of higher education including the California State University System, University of Nebraska, Pennsylvania State University and California Institute of Technology. Additionally, Pat is a Certified Threat Manager and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.
Pat is an alumnus of USC having earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. He holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Pat is also the parent of a recent USC graduate.
